What the EO SwimBETTER measures

The EO SwimBETTER sensors capture data that no camera can. Using waterproof sensors on each hand, the device measures true propulsion and stroke efficiency in real time.

Force and power per stroke – quantify how much propulsion each arm generates

Direction of force – identify whether you’re pushing forward efficiently or losing energy

Stroke symmetry – detect left-right imbalances

Hand path mapping – visualize your exact pull path underwater

Stroke rate and tempo – track rhythm and timing changes with fatigue

Scheduling

These sessions will take place before the Precision Swim Series from 12:00 to 12:30 pm on Sundays at the YWCA Evanston/North Shore. If you are participating in the swim series, you will be briefly pulled from the clinic to use the devices.

Review sessions will be scheduled directly with a coach after the recording is complete.

We recommend at least three weeks in between each device/filming session.
