Whether it’s running, cycling, swimming, or strength training, a group setting can help you find motivation and support, pushing you further than you may go on your own.  Not to mention, our clinics and programs are the perfect places to make new friends and connect with other like-minded athletes!

We offer seasonal outdoor group training as well as Zoom training sessions.

Our Clinics & Programs

Spring Half Marathon/10k Training

This 16-week spring half marathon/10k training program includes running and strength workouts each week to be completed independently. The program also includes unlimited email access to a coach. The start date for runners doing the Chicago Spring Half Marathon/10k is January 29 and the start date can be modified for those running a different half marathon. 

In-person runs with our team and weekly phone calls with a coach can be added on, just send us an email.

Group Cycling

Join us Tuesday and Thursday mornings for a cycling workout.

During the indoor season, you’ll work out from the comfort of your own home. The workout file will be emailed prior to the start of the class and you’ll be sent a Zoom meeting link so you can join in on the camaraderie and banter. If you’re riding on Zwift, an optional virtual meet-up is also offered. A smart trainer is recommended but not required.

Tuesday cycling class rides are from 5:30–6:25 am. Strength workout immediately follows from 6:30–7:00 am. Thursday cycling class rides 5:30-6:40 am. Core workout immediately follows from 6:45-7:00 am.

During the outdoor season we meet at Gillson Park, Wilmette for a 5:40 am ride start time. The Tuesday ride is a bike/run brick format, and the Thursday ride is a longer ride. Both morning workouts are approximately 70 minutes.

Triathlon Clinic

If you’re new to the sport of triathlon and looking for a welcoming training environment for new triathletes, this is for you! Our beginner triathlon training program is a 10-week program that includes a coach-led Friday morning group workout as well as a 10-week beginner sprint triathlon training program. In addition to swimming, cycling, and running, our coaches will also guide you through the intricacies of transitions and race nutrition. They’ll prepare you for a successful and fun race and build your confidence in all aspects of triathlon.

This program will be geared toward completing a race of your choice on the weekend of August 24, 2024. Two ideas for local races that weekend are the Chicago Triathlon and Sugar River Triathlon. Race entry is not included in the training program.

We will meet at various parks in the Evanston and Wilmette area from 6:00–7:00 am on Fridays from June 21–August 23, 2024.

Own the Open Water

Get ready for triathlon season with Own the Open Water! This is a 10-week group swim clinic working on open-water swimming skills.

We will meet at Gillson Park in Wilmette from 6:00–7:00 am on Wednesdays from June 19–August 21, 2024. August 28 will be used as a makeup date.

Outdoor Group Running

Let us help you get out the door Wednesday and Friday mornings for a run. We meet at 6 am at Lee St. beach (Evanston) for a 45–60 minute run workout.  The workout will be made available in your TrainingPeaks account (a free app).

Membership also includes occasional “field trip” runs. Once or twice a month we plan longer runs on Saturday mornings from various locations. In the past, we’ve run The Magnificent Mile, the ravines in Winnetka, and some hills in Highland Park. You will be kept updated via a weekly email sent on Monday evening.

Membership is recurring until canceled.
