Saturday, March 11 at 8:00 am

Join us for a FUN, friends and family prediction run. We’ll have two distance options (approximately 4 and 8 miles). On race morning, you’ll predict the time you think you’ll run for the distance of your choosing. You cannot run with any electronic devices! Nothing—no phones, no watches—nothing. The athlete who predicts closest to the actual time they run wins! The winner will receive a gift card to Commonwealth Running Co.

This is a family-friendly event. We’ll have coffee and donuts at the finish line. We are not having a packet pick up or even timing bibs—we’ll be out timing with stopwatches. The overall goals of the morning are to get outside, build community, get in a run, and have fun doing it!

General Information

• Park at the Skokie Lagoons Tower Rd Boat Launch Parking Lot.
• Check in at 7:30–7:55 am to predict your time. The run will start at 8 am.
• We will release a course map closer to race day with two distance options (approximately 4 and 8 miles, depending on trail construction).
• There is only one porta-potty located at the boat launch parking lot. The closest business for bathroom use is the Starbucks at Willow Rd.
• Athletes are expected to carry their own nutrition and water. Water, coffee, and donuts will be available at the finish line but there will be no aid stations on the course.
• All athletes will receive a pair of “Race with Precision” touchscreen gloves.

Things to keep in mind when predicting your time

• It is not a closed course, there will be other pedestrians and cyclists using the trail
• You will need to cross Tower Rd. We will not be stopping traffic, you must pay attention and cross when it’s safe.
• The goal of the morning is to have FUN!!!
